La acción sindical frente a la brecha salarial de género: experiencias, desafíos y estrategias

    El próximo 24 de septiembre tendrá lugar en la sede del Consejo Económico y Social de España (CES) la Conferencia Final de cierre del proyecto ACCTIOON EQUAL PAY

    Con la conferencia final, el próximo 24 de septiembre, CCOO presentará públicamente el proyecto ACCTIOON Equal PAY implementado, los materiales y eventos realizados, las principales conclusiones obtenidas y las propuestas de CCOO para frenar la brecha salarial mediante la actuación sindical. Se centrará, fundamentalmente, en presentar públicamente el INFORME la brecha salarial de género: impacto, negociación colectiva y actuación sindical, y la Guía Sindical La brecha salarial de género: análisis y propuestas sindicales para la Negociación Colectiva, que hace un recorrido por la legislación y otras herramientas institucionales existentes para combatirla, aporta los datos sobre brecha salarial de género más recientes, e incluye las principales recomendaciones y propuestas de CCOO para atajar la brecha salarial.

    La conferencia Final contará con la participación de Marcos Peña, Presidente del Consejo Económico y Social de España; Ignacio Fernández Toxo, Secretario General de CCOO y Presidente de la Confederación Europea de Sindicatos; D. Johan Christopher Vibe, Embajador de Noruega; y Rosa Urbón Izquierdo, Directora del Instituto de la Mujer y para la Igualdad de Oportunidades. Igualmente intervendrán Synnøve Konglevoll, por la confederación sindical LO de Noruega, y Verónica Fernández Méndez, por la confederación sectorial UNI Global Union. Además, la jornada contará con las intervenciones de Raquel Gómez, del equipo técnico de la Secretaria Confederal de Mujer e Igualdad de CCOO; Rita Moreno, adjunta de la Secretaría Confederal de Acción Sindical de CCOO; Pilar Morales, Secretaria de Mujer y Cooperación de CCOO Madrid, y Ana Herranz, Secretaria Confederal de Mujer e Igualdad de CCOO.

    El Proyecto ACCTIOON EQUAL PAY, promovido y coordinado por CCOO y con el sindicato noruego LO como socio, es un proyecto cofinanciado por el Mecanismo Europeo del Espacio Económico Europeo (EEA Grants) 2009-2014, en el marco del Memorándum suscrito entre el Reino de Noruega, Islandia y el Principado de Liechtenstein («Estados donantes») y el Reino de España («Estado Beneficiario»)", específico del Programa de Igualdad de Género y Conciliación, dirigido a reducir las desigualdades económicas y sociales en el EEA mediante la promoción de la igualdad entre mujeres y hombres en la vida laboral.

    "Trade union action against the gender pay gap: experiences, challenges and strategies"

    The next September 24th will be held at the headquarters of the Economic and Social Council of Spain (CES) Conference Final closing ACCTIOON EQUAL PAY project.

    With the final conference on 24 September, will present the project publicly CCOO ACCTIOON Equal Pay implemented, materials and events held, the main conclusions and proposals of CCOO to curb the wage gap through trade union action. It will focus primarily on publicly present the report gender pay gap: impact, collective bargaining and trade union action, and the Trade Union Guide The gender pay gap: analysis and trade union proposals for collective bargaining, which makes a tour of the legislation and other existing institutional tools to fight it, provides data on wage gender gap of more recent, and includes the main recommendations and proposals CCOO to address the wage gap.

    The final conference will include the participation of Marcos Peña, President of the Economic and Social Council of Spain; Ignacio Fernandez Toxo, Secretary General of CCOO and President of the European Trade Union Confederation; Johan Christopher D. Vibe, Ambassador of Norway; and Urbón Rosa Izquierdo, Director of the Institute of Women and Equal Opportunities. Synnøve Konglevoll also intervene by the Norwegian trade union confederation LO, and Veronica Fernandez Mendez, by sectoral confederation UNI Global Union. In addition, the conference will feature speeches by Raquel Gómez, the technical team of the confederal secretary of CCOO Women and Equality; Rita Moreno, deputy of the confederal secretary of the CCOO union action; Pilar Morales, Secretary of Women and Cooperation CCOO Madrid and Ana Herranz, Secretary of Women and Equality Confederal CCOO.

    EQUAL PAY ACCTIOON Project, promoted and coordinated by CCOO and the Norwegian union LO as a partner, is a project funded by the European Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA Grants) 2009-2014 under the Memorandum signed between the Kingdom of Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein ("donor States") and the Kingdom of Spain ('State Beneficiary ")" specific Programme Gender Equality and Conciliation aimed at reducing economic and social disparities in the EEA by promoting equality between men and women in working life.
